What is Liquidation Hunter Pro?

Liquidation Hunter Pro is a free, real-time dashboard that monitors and visualizes liquidation hunting activity across major cryptocurrency perpetual futures exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid) using live market data.

Large traders (whales) often push prices into crowded leverage clusters to trigger liquidation cascades. This app makes that data visible so you can:

  • View liquidation price levels with $ volumes
  • Monitor long/short ratios across exchanges
  • Track funding rates (indicator of over-leverage)
  • See top trader sentiment

Understanding the Dashboard

Quick Stats (Top Bar)

  • 🔴 Long Ratio: % of open interest in long positions
  • 💰 Funding Rate: Average 8-hour funding across exchanges (positive = longs pay shorts)
  • 📊 Open Interest: Total $ value of all open positions
  • 👥 Top Traders Long: % of professional traders holding long positions

Current Price

Live spot price from Binance. Updates automatically and matches the chart price. Starts at $0.00 while loading data (typically 1-2 seconds).

Liquidation Levels Table

  • Price: The liquidation price level
  • Long Vol: $ amount of long positions that liquidate at this price
  • Short Vol: $ amount of short positions that liquidate at this price
  • Distance %: How far from current price
  • Risk: 🔴 Critical (>$1.5B), 🟠 High (>$800M), 🟡 Medium

Loading Indicator: Red pulsing "⚠️ Loading Data..." appears while fetching initial data

Live Data Sources

  • Prices: Binance API (spot market)
  • Liquidation Data: Coinglass API
  • Open Interest: Coinalyze API
  • Funding Rates: Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid APIs
  • Top Trader Sentiment: Binance API

Note: Some APIs may be blocked when testing locally (CORS restrictions). All APIs work normally on the live deployed site. Generated fallback data is used when APIs are unavailable.

Exchange Selection (Settings)

Click the settings wheel (⚙️) in the top right to customize which exchanges are included in the data. By default, all four exchanges (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Hyperliquid) are selected.

Why Deselect an Exchange?

  • Regional restrictions: Some exchanges may not be available in your country
  • Personal preference: You may only trade on specific exchanges
  • Data focus: Compare specific exchanges against each other
  • Simplify view: Reduce information if you find it overwhelming

What Changes When You Deselect?

  • Funding Rate tables: Deselected exchanges are hidden from the display
  • Open Interest: Total OI calculation excludes deselected exchanges
  • Long/Short ratios: Calculations only include selected exchanges
  • Comparisons: Cross-exchange analysis only uses selected data

Tip: Keep all exchanges selected for the most complete picture of market conditions. Deselecting exchanges gives you a narrower but more focused view.

Settings & Customization

Refresh Rate

Adjust how often data updates (10-30 seconds). Lower = more frequent updates but more API calls. Default: 12 seconds

Asset Selection

Switch between BTC, 50+ top assets, or 10+ Solana tokens using the navigation buttons at the top.

Tips for Effective Use

  • Watch for clusters: Large liquidation volumes at specific price levels indicate danger zones
  • Monitor funding rates: Extremely high funding (>0.1%) suggests over-leveraged positions vulnerable to liquidation
  • Check long/short ratios: Extreme ratios (>70% or <30%) often precede reversals
  • Compare exchanges: Whales often target the exchange with the most extreme positioning first
  • Use the chart: Technical analysis combined with liquidation data gives the complete picture
  • Track top traders: Professional traders' positioning often leads retail movements

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Why does the Current Price differ from other sources?

A: The Current Price uses Binance spot market data, which should match the TradingView chart exactly. Both use the same source.

Q: What does the "Loading Data" indicator mean?

A: The red pulsing warning appears while the app is fetching data from APIs. It typically disappears within 1-2 seconds.

Q: Why does the price start at $0?

A: Starting at $0 clearly indicates the data hasn't loaded yet. The real price appears within 1-2 seconds.

Q: Can I customize which exchanges I see?

A: Yes! Click the settings wheel (⚙️) and select/deselect exchanges as desired.

Q: How often does data update?

A: By default, every 12 seconds. You can adjust this in Settings (10-30 seconds).

Q: Is this free to use?

A: Yes! Liquidation Hunter Pro is completely free and open source.

Q: Does this work on mobile?

A: Yes! The dashboard is fully responsive and works on all devices.

Q: Are the liquidation predictions accurate?

A: They are estimates based on available market data. Use them as indicators, not guarantees.

Troubleshooting

Problem: Price showing $0 for too long

Solution: Check your internet connection. The Binance API may be temporarily unavailable.

Problem: Settings not saving

Solution: Check that your browser allows localStorage. Settings are saved locally.

Problem: Chart not displaying

Solution: Ensure the TradingView widget is loaded. Check your browser console for errors.

Problem: Why is there no chart data for my token?

Solution: The Assets list automatically pulls the top 50 tokens by trading volume from Binance Futures API. However, not all tokens will display complete data because:

  • TradingView coverage: Some smaller tokens aren't available on TradingView charts
  • Limited liquidation data: Coinglass/Coinalyze may not track all 50 tokens
  • New listings: Newly listed tokens don't have enough historical data yet

Good news: BTC, ETH, SOL, and the top 10-15 tokens by volume will always have complete data. Issues typically only occur with smaller tokens in positions 30-50 of the list.
